People here are missing the point. A used ICE car with 100k miles on it is still good for another 100k miles and you can tell how long it will last by how you look after it. Plus it doesn’t cost you 20k where as a EV costs you 20k and could possibly die tomorrow needing a 20k batttery pack. Also think people get so wrapped up in the savings of an EV. So I run my ev charged at home for £3 a day but then my diesel uses £10 a day to do 100 mile round trip to the office. Over a year the EV saves me £1500 a year, but then the depreciation on the EV costs me an extra 10k a year.
